Position Summary

USF Health OB/GYN seeks a highly-motivated, detail oriented and energetic marketing/sales professional to join our growing practice and assist with expansion via MD referrals for OB/GYN clinical divisions including our Fetal Care Center, Maternal Fetal Medicine, gynecologic oncology, mammography services and IVF. Main goals are to increase referral volumes by cultivating relationships with key physicians, office staff, and hospital administrations, building physician to physician and physician to administration relationships, fostering relationships with providers, and improving awareness of USF Health OB/GYN patient care services.

Applicants must have proven record of prospecting, relationship and closing skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interacting with patients, staff, and physicians.

USF Health places patients first and is committed to offering the very best patient care available. As a member of our growing practice you will become part of an integrated clinical team managing all aspects of physician referral marketing for OB/GYN services.

This position will report to our Director of Physician and Community Relations.

Position Requirements

Educational and Licensure Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in communication, marketing or public relations..

Experience Requirements:
• At least (7) years in the communication and marketing field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proven experience in coordinating and executing communication campaigns, including developing and executing strategy, websites, blogs, search engine optimization and writing background materials.
• Experience developing and deploying marketing plans.
• Proven ability to raise the visibility and awareness of special programs
• Comfort with cold calling on potential clients and attending and/or presenting to potential clients in various venues.
•Experience with Women’s medicine a plus.
•Knowledgeable of time and territory management skills.
•Familiarity with local marketplace/community.
•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Proficiency in the use of basic computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Applications, QuickTime, and Flash

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred candidates will also have experience working in a health care setting. Knowledge of OB/GYN – related clinical and patient care and research is not required, but will be helpful to the successful applicant. Pharmaceutical sales experience a plus. Preferred candidates will also have existing knowledge of health care delivery and/or health information.

Skill Requirements:
• Excellent customer service, organizational management and time management skills
• Ability to exercise independent judgment to address commonly encountered problems.

• Flexibility in work hours to accommodate occasional opportunities for marketing in instances of after normal business hour functions (i.e., attend evening meetings).
• Polished and professional presentation as representative of USF Health.
